Who We Are Looking for and What You Will Do as a USANA Manager of Philanthropy - USANA Foundation

The Manager of Philanthropy plays a key role in advancing the mission of the USANA Foundation by leading fundraising efforts that support programs locally and internationally. This position drives donor engagement, retention, and revenue growth while ensuring fundraising strategies align with program goals and budgets. The Manager of Philanthropy oversees donor systems, maintains accurate records, and implements personalized outreach to strengthen relationships and secure long-term support, helping maximize the Foundation’s impact in the communities it serves.

  • Lead and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet and increase annual revenue targets that support the Foundation’s full program portfolio
  • Develop and execute donor acquisition, retention, and recognition strategies while serving as a key contact for employees, USANA Brand Partners, community, corporate, and major donors, providing personalized communication to strengthen relationships and long-term engagement
  • Maintain accurate and organized donor records and ensure effective use of CRM and database systems, including Airtable, Volunteer Matters, and Donor Box
  • Research, write, and manage grant applications, reporting requirements, and accreditation processes as applicable
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Engagement to plan and execute fundraising events, donor receptions, and Foundation gatherings, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, invitations, RSVP tracking, and on-site execution
  • Support and enhance volunteer engagement where it directly supports fundraising and donor cultivation, including recruitment, training, scheduling, recognition, and overall volunteer experience
  • Support Foundation marketing and communication efforts in partnership with the Communications team, including social media, storytelling, donor impact messaging, and professional correspondence such as proposals, acknowledgments, impact reports, and donor updates

 

What You Will Need

  • 3–5 years of professional fundraising experience.
  • Prior nonprofit experience required, with a background in fundraising, marketing, and fiscal management
  • Coalition building skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; a persuasive negotiator able to achieve consensus amongst differing opinions
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, and the experience and proclivity to be an outgoing spokesperson, relationship builder, and fundraiser
